You hear all about the dating tips that guys are given, but what about the ladies!? They are the other half of the equation when it comes to dating! Not to fear ladies, here are 7 tips to help you when you go on your first date with a gent that you might like.

1. Don’t freak out

7 Tips For Gals For the First DateAs a girl myself, it is so easy to freak out about the date. All you want to do is psycho analyze everything that the Gent is going to do. As much as you might want to do that, don’t. Go on the date with the sole purpose of having fun. That’s what dates are for, to have fun and to get to know someone new. Even if you don’t have a spectacularly great time, give the Gent another chance?he might be as nervous as you!

2. Be on time

Even though women are always told to be “fashionably late”, you really don’t need to do that. All it says about you is that you don’t really care about the date enough to be on time. If you are going to be a little bit longer than expected, text your date. He will greatly appreciate it.

3. Dress appropriately

Ask your date what you are going to do so you can dress appropriately. You don’t want to show up in a party dress if you are going to go bowling. Find out what you should wear. Also, if you want to have a guy that truly respects you?keep the short dresses and revealing tops to a minimum. You don’t want to be sending the guy the wrong message.

4. Be kind

Guys love when gals are nice to them. Compliment him on what he is wearing, or his cologne. Guys will appreciate when you acknowledge their effort that they put into the date. It will also make him more likely to compliment you too! And you know you love that!

5. Don’t be a debbie downer

Even if you have a naturally sarcastic personality, try not to be too mean on your date. Even if your date takes you somewhere that you don’t really like?be open to the new experience. If anything, you can laugh about the date later.

6. Have fun

Even if the date is horrible, and everything goes wrong?have fun with it! Dates are just activities for you to get to know someone better. No one is going to want to date you if you can’t have a little bit of fun. Don’t stress about the date, and let loose!

7. Show interest

If you like the Gent a lot?make sure that you aren’t being mysterious about what you think about him. Some guys are kind of clueless and need some guidance when it comes to the dating game.

Don’t forget to be yourself. Dates are all about getting to know other people. Don’t worry, one date doesn’t mean that you will marry the guy, it’s just something fun. Let loose, and have fun on the date. Even if everything goes wrong, you will be able to have at least made a new friend, and a funny story!
