The night is young and so are you! Whether it’s Wednesday, Friday or Saturday – you’ve made plans for the night that may find you out till the wee hours of the morning. No, you’re not going to the library, silly. You’re going clubbing with your friends! Going clubbing isn’t just about being seen – but that is a big part of it. It’s a form of social networking that happens in real life and in real time. It certainly isn’t a very sedate set of activities either – if you plan on sitting and looking pretty, that’s one route but usually a night of clubbing means drinking and dancing and hopping from one hot spot to the next. If you’re not careful though, can end up spending quite a bit of money so make sure in all the merriment, you stick to a budget!
The Dress to Impress
Club Dresses can range in price from cheap to reasonable to darn near cataclysmic. No amount of partying is worth putting yourself in debt, so use the internet to find dresses from reputable fashion designers, at less than boutique prices. When choosing fabrics, look for things that are touchable but breathable at the same time. Patterns may be lost in the darkness of night clubs so go for gold – or silver or shimmery and sparkly finishes. Dresses that look good in the light need to look even more spectacular in the dark for your clubbing needs.
Fix Your Face
Save those dull or safe or neutral tones for work or brunch – tonight’s the night to shine! Clubbing make up is rich, extravagant, lush and bold – everything you want to be! The smoky eyes are a club classic but don’t be afraid to use something glittery to accent them – either a shimmery shadow just under the brow or lining your eyes with something silvery. Matte is drab and you want fab – make your lips decadent and voluptuous by basing with your favorite deeper rich shades and then topping off with some extra shiny gloss.
Gild With Glam
With all the bumping and grinding you’re going to end up doing, don’t risk your jewels to the fate of the dance floor. You can get the look of millions for less than your cab fare, without sacrificing style and fashion. Use stackable bracelets, and lots of them, in gold and silver finishes – these go with EVERYthing. Chokers are always eye catching so don’t be afraid to pull out this Victorian staple – a simple velvet neckband with an oversized rhinestone decal will have you the talk of the town for as long as the music is playing.
While You Gyrate, Hydrate!
Alcohol and alcoholic cocktails are expensive and if you plan on drinking several of them and even sponsoring a couple rounds, your tab will add up. I do the alternator – I follow every cocktail with a glass of water or club soda. Not only do I cut back on my beverage costs, but I keep myself hydrated all night. You’d be surprised to know that alcohol actually depletes water from your body.

Whether in my home or nightclub, I like to enjoy each and every night. I don’t mind to wear glitter often.
Thanks for the exciting post.
