Critically look at your reflection in the mirror, many of us then decide to do something about ourselves, and first of all, to go in for sports – to achieve the ideal shape.
The first passion to do it usually immediately strikes against the pile of urgent works and often the exercising may be delayed until tomorrow, Monday, or the first day in the next month … It is also very difficult to force yourself get out of the warm bed for half an hour earlier to do morning exercises. In short, there is not lack of reasons to put away the good intentions for a longer period. However, how to force yourself to start to go in for sports?
It is important to tune yourself properly.
First, you should be aware that this is what you really need. If you will force yourself with power to do sports, then it will make little sense. You must love what you do, you should gain pleasure from the sport’s lessons and see the meaning of all. Here you will need the help of psychological approach. Hang in visible place (such as to the door of the fridge) your best photo or photo of a celebrity whose figure is worth of envy, but next to it – the photo that demonstrates the real situation. Usually it works.
What should you choose?
Now when the need of physical activities has become more obvious, we can now understand the most appropriate lessons. In principle, for health and figure any physical activity will be useful – the usual morning exercises, the classes at the fitness center, and running in the morning. The main thing is to choose the best type of sport, so the crucial role is to your interests. What do you prefer – dancing, yoga, tennis, aerobics, basketball, fitness, or something else? It would be good before you start to do physical activities to have a consultation with your doctor, so that these activities do not harm your health. Probably, almost the harmless and at the same time the safest sport is swimming.
But how about the time?
Sport activities will have been meaning only if they are regular. Therefore, you should plan concrete time interval for sport activities, but by no means in practice, there is no “spare” time, so if you want to say this, it is just as if you admit that there is no time for sport. At the same time, it is not important which time of the day you will choose for the exercises. Some women do exercises in the morning hours, while for others it is better to do the exercises in the evening, but some women even find time for exercising during the lunch break. The main requirement – the regularity and the consistency (at least 2 times per week).
We look for tactical solutions.
If you find it difficult to choose a particular type of sport, then you can probably combine the pleasant with the useful in your room. For example, you can watch your favorite soap opera but in the same time ride with the exercise bike or use the jumping rope. There tends to be also situations when there is both the favorite sport type, as well as free time, but no willpower. In this case, the best solution is to exercise together with a girlfriend, because it will make you more responsible (because you do not want to disappoint each other, right?).
Correctly set objectives.
When starting to do sports you must be clear about what should be the result. Unclear formulation such as to ‘become beautiful’ makes no sense. What exactly do you want – you want to improve the abdominal area, straighten your back or to strengthen leg muscles? Only by answering this question, you will be able to choose correctly the set of exercises, rather than spending time to random and completely meaningless exercises.
Take your time to be in front of the events
And finally, you do not have to climb on the scales after each sport class hoping for instant results. I am afraid to disappoint you, but it is not worth waiting for noticeable changes in appearance earlier than 2- 3 months after regular exercising.
It is also advisable to read the specialized literature, look at some web pages, that are meant to inform us about healthy living, contact with people who do sports, go to the lockstep, and you will definitely succeed in everything!
